But their metallic composition \u2014 the Low-E coating, a thin layer inside the double glazing \u2014 has a major side effect: it massively blocks mobile signals, just like other insulating materials containing metal, effectively creating a &#8220;Faraday cage.&#8221; To address this issue, the traditional solution has long been the <a href=\"https:\/\/wavethru.eu\/en\/the-hidden-cost-of-connectivity-a-budgetary-comparison-of-das-vs-wavethru\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"9506\">DAS system<\/a> (Distributed Antenna System).
